Emma had a seziure, we are very scared

My beautiful daughter Emma just turned 11 months a few days ago. She has a little bit of a cold and a runny nose. I gave her lunch and then a bath today, I took her out of the tub and she began crying because she loves the tub so much. As I was putting her diaper on she started to not breath and turn blue. She went limp and her eyes rolled back in her head. We had to call 911 and were extremely scared thinking she was dying. The amublance arrived quickly luckily and by the time they got there she had begun crying and turned pink again but was not opening her eyes. It was a 30 minute drive to the hospital and half way there, about 15 minutes into it she finally opened her eyes and sat up and appeared to be "with it" again. At the ER they diagnosed her as having a breath holding spell that caused a seziure. However they didn't run any tests and said to followup with our normal pediatrician tomorrow who may want to give her an EEG.

We are beside ourselves with worry. I know I won't sleep tonight as I am terrified she will do it again and die. Am I being too paranoid?

Emma and Cole had their pictures taken at sears on monday. These were Emma'a first professional pictures.Her baptism is next month but we got her picture taken in the gown now. The baptismal gown was worn by me and both my sisters when we were little as well.

I happen to think the pictures came out pretty well!

Yesterday cole walked right out the sliding glass doors in our living room and went outside by himself. He was probably out there for 5 to 10 minutes before I noticed. I had been upstairs. Thank god he stayed right in the back yard near the swingset. If he hadn't god knows where he would have gone. I'm always terrified he'll go out in the road. I was very freaked out when I found him out there. I guess I can't leave him alone downstairs for a second now.

Baptism/Easter Appropriate wear

Are any of these acceptable to wear to cole's baptism? I'm really nervous about it since I'll be in front of everyone. You should know I almost never wear dresses and if I do I prefer black. But I think black on a baptim/easter wouldn't look right. Am I wrong??

So since I couldn't find Cole a proper baptismal outfit in his size I ordered him a white suit. I don't really want to spend the money ordering him more shoes online as well, so do you think it would look okay if he wore his new blue and white saddle shoes with the white suit?

How Did I not know about the greatest website in the world? Etsy.com Holy shit I want to buy so much stuff from them, and greatest of all, they take paypal. It's bascially all homemade items from people around the world. I am going to be a frequent costumer, I can tell. I'm going to probably buy cole this custom elephant outfit, and also a crocheted elephant toy. Freaking awesome.

I forgot to mention Cole pee'd on the potty for the first time monday, and today he pooped on the potty for the first time (peed again too). Both times it was just one of those things were I was changing his diaper and asked him if he wanted to sit on the potty. We have aone of those little potty seats that goes over the toilet. I want to get him a kid size potty for christmas. The one I got him a few months ago I returned because I didn't like it.

Anyone ever make cinnamon appplesauce ornaments? I'm going to have cole make them for the grandparents for christmas. I figured it's a cheap cute homemade gift, and they SMELL GREAT. But I've never made them before. I've looked up several recipes, some use just applesauce and cinnamon some also include glue. Which way do you suggest?

I've heard it's good luck to find a birds nest in your tree. My stepmom always puts a fake one in her tree.

I was just trying to push around some of the branches of our ans saw a huge nest in the middle. We never noticed it when we bought it or put it in the stand. I cried when I found it. It's probably my out of control hormones. But I did ask god the other night to give me a sign of how I should feel and if the baby is really gone or not.

I just looked it up and supposedly it means good luck and a few places even said fertility and new life.

Okay, I'm thinking of a delicious cookie matt's mom makes. It's shaped sorta like biscotti, has a flaky type crust and is filled with chocolate. It's an italian cookie. She just calls them "Chocolate filled italian cookies" so I can't seem to find a real name or recipe online.
